Defender of the Crown: The Legend Returns is a strategy game developed by Black Tower Basement and published by Nordcurrent Labs. This build brings the latest version of the title to PC. It marks the return of a strategy classic from the 1980s, rebuilt for modern platforms.

The story stays close to the original. England is in chaos, the King is dead, and the crown is missing. You step into the boots of a Saxon lord and face rival Norman factions fighting for control. The goal is to reclaim the throne, and every decision on the map moves you closer or pushes you back. Diplomacy and warfare go hand in hand as the factions trade territory and strike at weak points.

The game keeps the famous core of the original intact. You conquer provinces, raise armies, storm castles, and shift the balance of power across the land.
